American Expat Killed in Hotel Robbery On the 24/05/07 at about 0200hrs some bandits numbering approx fifteen (15) invaded Chariot Hotels located at Plot 2/4 Opeyemi Street off Ligali Ayorinde str.V/Island Lagos. The bandits, who raided over twenty-two of twenty-six rooms, occupied by guests’ subject their victims to horror. An American National name withheld with a female companion was shot dead by the bandits. He was said to have refused to surrender his money as demanded by the hoodlums and instead engaged one of the bandits in a scuffle which resulted to his being shot on the neck. He was the only victim killed as others who parted with their belongings were not harmed. The case is under investigation.
